This week I watched Baby Einsteins. I also learned about sensory development. I got to paint, make necklaces, play with play doh, and play with Legos that help with development.

This week in Child Development we made an infant day care facility. We needed to make a layout for a room and all the toys, we also made an outside.

This week in Child Develoment we made a toy. Ours was really cool and unique. This was a fun week.

This week I learned about toys. I learned about toys that have either physical, emotional, or social development. We started making a new toy this week as well. On Friday I took home a baby and it was a very hard experience.

This week in child development was very eventful. We finished our flour babies this week. It was a fun experience having them and it was one of the reasons why I was excited to take this class. I learned about child milestones and cloth diapering and a lot of cool baby related stuff. When our flour babies ended people thought it was a free pass to ruin their flour bags and we all got our babies or our sack of flour taken away (depending on what we had left).

This week in Child Development I made a flour baby. I learned about feeding techniques and the benefits of breast feeding, and formula.

This week in child development I learned about child birth and what a midwife is. I saw a few different ways people give birth with midwifes.

This week in Child Development I learned about child birth and the process of it.

Child Development; Week 8/31

This week was really interesting. We put eggs in a cup, one with water and food coloring, and one with rubbing alcohol. The effects were really cool. The one with food coloring filled up with water, and the one with alcohol cooked. I also had to make a brochure about a birth defect called Spina Bifida.

Child Development; Week 8/23

This week I had to wear the Empathy Belly. It was a very weird experience. It started to hurt my back after a while. I also had to fit the belly in the desk. When I took it off it felt like there was a lot of weight taken off me.
